Newspapers are sent to out via the mail and transported to wholesalers
 
Most newspapers are printed in the evening and at night. For weeklies, evening papers, brochures and attachments from a retail outlets, these can be printed during the day
 
Newspapers should take into account  current events. Therefore, the copy deadline becomes as late as possible, this then, leaves little time for the printing and final processing, including sending out of the papers. New strapping techniques have to be adapted due to the extremely high operating speed and need for reliability.
 
All standard packages are identical in size. As a result, this makes the work easier. Only the odd individual packages vary in height.
 
The current newspapers are stacked by a stacker, depending on the type of stack (eg, small size and high, large amounts of attachments), the first strap can be useful to stabilize the pack. Normally, the first stacks are wrapped in film and then strapped twice. Newspaper industries normally use tandem machines. The stacks are normally cross strapped. The standard stacks weigh about 8 to 12 kg.
